To register as a user, go to the Rathaniwahana.lk website and click on the "register" button. You will be prompted to enter your personal information, including your name, email address, and national identity card number.
Place an offer on a vehicle, you must first register as a user and log in to your account. Then, go to the auction page for the vehicle you are interested in and enter your offer in the designated field.
If you are the winner, you will be required to complete the purchase of the vehicle within 48 hours of the winning offer being announced. If you fail to complete the purchase within this timeframe, you may be subject to penalties, including but not limited to the forfeiture of your offer deposit.
Payment for purchases must be made in full in person at the RathaNiwahana office (located at No. 176 Lake Rd, Maharagama) using cash or debit cards. The winner offer must be physically present at the location with their registered national identity card.
After you make a payment, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that your payment has been successful. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact customer service for assistance.
The delivery of the purchased vehicle will be arranged by MI and the delivery costs will be borne by the purchaser. The delivery location must be within the boundaries of Sri Lanka.
All sales on the Rathaniwahana.lk website are final and non-refundable.
