Eligibility
In order to use the Rathaniwahana.lk website, you must be a national identity card holder of Sri Lanka and over the age of 18. By using the Rathaniwahana.lk website, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
- Registration
In order to participate in the bidding and instant purchase options on the Rathaniwahana.lk website, you must first register as a user. As part of the registration process, you will be required to provide certain personal information, including but not limited to your name, email address, and national identity card number. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update your information as necessary to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
- User Account and Security
After completing the registration process, you will be given a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your user account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your user account or password.
- Bidding and Purchasing
The Rathaniwahana.lk website offers the option to bid on and purchase vehicles that are being auctioned on the site. By participating in the bidding process, you agree to be bound by the terms of the auction, including but not limited to the start and end times of the auction, the minimum bid increments, and the purchase price.
If you are the winning bidder, you are required to complete the purchase of the vehicle within 48 hours of the winning bid being announced. If you fail to complete the purchase within this timeframe, you may be subject to penalties, including but not limited to the forfeiture of your bid deposit.
If you are the winning bidder, you will be required to pay the purchase price in full at the time of purchase using the methods specified on the Rathaniwahana.lk website.
Delivery of the purchased vehicle will be arranged by MI and the delivery costs will be borne by the purchaser. The delivery location must be within the boundaries of Sri Lanka.
- Pricing and Payment
All prices on the Rathaniwahana.lk website are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Payment for purchases must be made in full in person at the RathaNiwahana office (located at No. 176 Lake Rd, Maharagama) using cash or debit cards. The winner bidder must be physically present at the location with their registered national identity card.
The delivery of purchased vehicles will be arranged by MI and the delivery costs will be borne by the purchaser. The delivery location must be within the boundaries of Sri Lanka.
- User Conduct
You agree to use the Rathaniwahana.lk website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the website by, any other person.
- Intellectual Property
The content on the Rathaniwahana.lk website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of MI or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any content on the website for commercial purposes without the express written consent of MI.
